Fine chemicals and specialty chemicals for industry are a basic part of the chemical sector.

Among the vaste multitude of special products, we deal with special process units specifically for the production of Adhesives, Sealants, Glues, Paints, Acrylic Resins, Polyurethanes, PUDs, Silicones, Epoxy Resins, Surfactants Derived from Ethylene Oxide, Derivatives of Propylene Oxide, compounds with phosphoric anhydride, oleochemical products, Esters for Cosmetics and Personal Care, Rheology Modifiers, Thermoplastic Polymers, Cement and Concrete Superplasticizers, Waterproofing, Additives for Textiles.

These specialty chemicals come in a wide variety of forms: liquid, viscous, thixotropic, pasty or sticky, hygroscopic, powdery, granular, flake-like, with high melting point, low melting point, reactive with air humidity, toxic, flammable. They are produced in special plants that allow the transformation of different basic chemical species into more complex ones with specific required properties (REACTORS). They are processed in specialized machines (MIXERS) where the chemical-physical homogenization of different solid, liquid and pasty components occurs, both in low viscosity and in very high viscosity, at low or high temperature, at atmospheric pressure, at high pressure or under vacuum. They are then extruded, or flaked, or made into pellets, or pulverized or simply packaged in various and diverse types of packaging (PACKAGING). In order to obtain the highest levels of quality, repeatability and safety required, the modern Special Plants are always equipped with the most advanced control, automation (Distributed Control Systems DCS) and safety (Safety Integrity Systems SIS, Emergency Shutdown System ESD) systems, also equipped with remote supervision with supervision systems (MIS). The Special Plants are finally completed with adequate systems for the treatment of gaseous emissions and contaminated water, or package systems that allow the production units to operate within the terms of the law in compliance with health and the environment.​​

Specialinstalation  is a consulting firm established in Italy in 2023 and is based on my over thirty year experience gained working with large engineering companies and multinational chemical companies for the design, construction and start-up of petrochemical and specialty chemical plants, covering the positions of project leader, field engineer, pre-commissioning and commissioning leader, technical director, project manager, engineering director, chemical technology licensee, corporate engineering, plant manager, and finally consultant in Asia and around the world for tailor-made special plants. Numerous projects completed in Italy, Germany, Switzerland, USA, India, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, Brazil, Turkey, Iran. Design and construction of special plants and prototypes for chemical synthesis, polymerization, mixing, dispersion, batch systems, continuous processes, new product's industrialization.
